描述： I, Stephisha Walton, am an individual who has been nurtured from the ground up. I am a woman who believes that hard work, persistence, loyalty, and dedication make for a solid foundation when traveling along this journey called life. Discovering a passion for basketball is a mere fraction of my being, but 100% of the time, it is my foundation. Basketball has raised me to be a better student, a better friend, a thinker, and an individual who refuses to quit when situations and circumstances say otherwise. I am a recent Cal Poly Pomona University kinesiology graduate, with an emphasis in exercise science and clinical health. After graduating in June 2012 I began my medical school application so that I can go on to attend medical school and eventually finish as Dr. Walton in the field of pediatrics. As a student, I have grown to realize that anything is possible if you allow yourself to use the full extent of your brain. All too often we "short-change" ourselves and do not realize it until it's too late. I have never and will never be that person.
