描述： My strategic goal is to improve sustainable procurement practices within the public healthcare sector. Evidence is that about 60% of the ecological footprint of healthcare service provision can be attributed to the total supply chain of the products consumed. There is the ability to influence, for better or worse, the environmental impact of healthcare provision through procurement choices. I recently completed in my spare time a Master in Sustainable Practice at RMIT University. My work history includes having been a consultant with Eco Products Agency and Nextek Ltd; working on sustainability related projects in the plastics industry, recycling, energy efficiency training, life cycle assessment and green product design. Prior to that I worked in a start-up company, developing fire performance materials As a product technologist with Qenos and Orica, I developed formulations, and provided technical service for polymer compounds and masterbatches. My career began in polymer research with the CRC for Polymers, after gaining a PhD in chemistry.
